Hey guys,
Does GM produce service or shop manuals on DVD? I had purchased one off Ebay for my Fords and it included every vehicle from the late 90's to the year of the DVD. I don't want Haynes or something like that. I'm looking for the real GM stuff.

GM doesn’t publish them, they sub it out to Helm. It looks like Helm doesn’t have a 2017 version for the Camaro yet, so no zl1. Your other option is acdelcotds. They have subscription web based service, which may have 2017 info, I didn’t dig. If these links work, here’s Helm and acdelcotds.

I guess I was being too subtle. I'm looking for a cheap copy of the OEM service DVD off ebay. I had one for Ford and it was perfect for major suspension and drivetrain upgrades and repairs. I doubt that it was a authorized copy. It is what the Dealership Service Techs use.

Thanks how good is it for the ZL1? What keeps you from getting a subscription and PDF'ing the whole thing?

In fact, much the '17 ZL1 information was on this website before the car hit the streets. It was very helpful when I was doing the LT4 swap into the '16 SS (before the ZL1 was available). I primarily used it for wiring diagrams, etc. so that I could create the appropriate wiring harness. Nothing keeps you from PDFing the whole thing. I normally just pay the money each time I need it so that I'm sure I'm getting the latest information. The fee is minimal. |

It's called copyrights, though few on the 'net adhere to them. That information costs a pretty penny, let me tell you.
