X pipe worth it?

I recently bought the Borla S axle back to replace my non npp exhaust on my SS. I absolutely love it but i'm starting to get the itch to make it louder. Anybody here with any experience on adding the Borla x pipe to the axle back?
Is it worth the extra $1000? I'd hate to spend another grand and the sound is basically the same. I've heard videos of the added x pipe but I can't gauge the difference on my computers speakers. I don't want to shatter windows but I do want it louder, especially on start up. Thanks

That’s allot for the xpipe. I have the flow master xpipe and sounds amazing! And it’s onky 300.

$1000? I paid like $550ish for my 60606. I have it married to the stock NPP. Worth it in my opinion

X-pipes and H-pipes do a little for performance but they actually tame the exhaust sound down a little. So if your goal is to make it louder, it won’t.

heck if you all want just loud... remove all cats. muffler, etc. install dual 3 inch pipe with some headers ( x pipe / H pipe optional ) you won't even be able to hear yourself think standing next to it then ...

now of course this is going to require a massive retune.. but if you want true loud its the only way.. and besides you guys love spending money on shit you don't need anyway

I also have it mated to the stock npp and yes, It is worth it. You can get it for less than 1,000. I didn't want to hack the pipes by the cats. The borla pipe fits right up to the stock cats. I can't say the difference you'll see with the Borla mufflers, but the exhaust is deeper and louder when mated to the stock npp.

Not worth it for the money , also is not a 3” x pipe like flow masters . I have borla but I would have gotten Flomasters if theirs was out when I got mine .
