Vitesse Throttle Controller

I was recommended to get the Vitesse Throttle Controller. I've looked into it but im curious if any other ZL1 owners have tried this and are happy with the results? Does this help the bogging off the line wuth the M6's in any way? I appreciate any feed back

Upped the font size AND added bold to it, lol!! You must really want some info! Joking.

I have it on my ZL1. I leave it on setting 4 but I have used it on 6 and 7. For me 4 is perfect for just DD even in rain. I recommend getting it. It makes the car much more snappier and gives it an incredibly noticeable increase in throttle.

But I'll also add that you should invest in a cheap DTC reader/eraser if you do get the VTC. They sometimes throw a DTC and put the ECU into "Reduced Power Mode". It happened to me twice in about 6 months. Once you erase the code then everything will go back to normal tho.

Ya sometimes its difficult reading from my phone so i try to make it easier for anyone else to read. Its funny to me how some people react. Makes me think there are kids on here or something. I'll leave the font alone for the sensitive types. That is great info though. Thank you. I dont want to be throwing any codes.

don’t worry...tough crowd here. The vitesse controller is a simple fix for the laggy throttle repsonse of a Camaro in general not just the LT4. Easy enough plug ‘n play install. Get a cheap code reader/scan tool and you are set just in case of an SES light. Drive a Dodge Charger Scat Pack or SRT car and you will wonder why GM decided the tip in throttle response needs to be so soggy/laggy. I don’t have one, but think it isn’t a terrible idea.

I've had one on my A8 SS for a few months now and love it. Never thrown a code from it though.

i have 1 but took it off when i started having issues with the car, turns out it was a faulty tq converter. Haven't put it back on yet, but when it was on i liked it.

Used one on my 16 SS and now on my GS. Killer. Wouldn't drive without and never had an issue.

I had one on my previous 16' 1ss A8 and it was a fun little toy that seems to "amplify" the pedal response rather than actually fix the delay. I believe you will avoid the codes if you re-calibrate it every 6 weeks or so. I never experienced any codes and may be because I have the newer model with the knob rather than the older 2 button style.
I'm not planning on installing it on my current SS.

Have you considered a ported throttle body for better throttle response?

Yes...actually my plan was the Tony Mamo and the Vitesse. Seems like a good combo. Along with my CAI and eventually some sort of exhaust..not sure on that yet. Just trying to do what i can without a tune...for a little while. Im curious why there doesn't seem to be any other brands of Trottle Controllers. I really appreciate all those that chimed in. I couldn't find anything on line about 6gen ZL1s with the Vitesse. So its good to hear some real experiences.

Other brands include Pedal Max, Pedal Commander, and Sprint Booster. I have the Sprint Booster on my Hellcat. Not all of these brands make controllers for all cars. And some are more expensive than the others. If you're going to get one I would try to convince you to get one other than the VTC. Only because I'd like to see how the different ones work on Camaros.
