6LE Designs: GUYS - STOP IGNORING US!!!

Uh Oh...
I got the same run around too. Ordered Oct 12, told me it would ship the week of Oct 20th. Nothing. Next he claimed they would ship out the week of Nov 6th. Nothing. Then he sent me a bogus tracking number on Nov 16th. On Nov 28th he came up with some crazy story about a FedEx employee got fired over using his packages as a bat. He did refund my money and told me, wait for it, they would ship that week.... After waiting a couple of weeks I told him to forget it and I ordered from someplace else. His excuse this time was the wild fires that are near his shop. A valid excuse except the fact that the fire didn't start until 3 days after the date he said he would ship it. Now I get a email from FedEx saying a package is headed my way. Shipped 3 days after I told him to forget it. Uhg. Now I'm gonna have to dick around with sending his crap back. On a good note, I ordered from RPI designs. They shipped out promptly and will be here today.

this is what i know about him...hes a good buy but is also an actor and has a family and this isnt his full time gig and he does it pretty much all by himself...not defedning him btw just stating the facts that i know from knowing him personally and dealing with him at my old work

About a year ago I ordered some of those red dial face decals for the gauge cluster. They arrived and it looked like a 4 year old cut them out with arts n crafts scissors. I told them that was unacceptable and they promised to fix the issue with some new decals. Well they did send me new decals and yeah, they looked as bad as the first set. Filed a claim with paypal and got my money back.
I thought they would have been a really nice touch to my adrenaline red interior. Instead I got 2 different sets of decals that I can't even use because they were cut so poorly. |

welp. looks like I will never be placing an order from them. sorry to hear that man...hopefully you get your shit or your money back. i get that things happen, but to start blatantly lying to people, with excuses and fake tracking numbers? You shouldn't be able to own a business or be a vendor on this forum or any other for that matter. That's garbage. Sorry but I hate dishonesty.
when people have a lot of my money, I demand transparency and communication.

I'm not in nearly the same boat as you guys, but I submitted two orders about 3-4 weeks ago. The oldest order got a tracking number on December 2nd that appears to be bunk as it does not show up in FedEx's tracker. The second order I placed on the 8th of this month and haven't heard a peep about it.
The experiences in this thread is concerning to say the least. Hopefully we get some kind of response but the list of excuses in the OP does not bode well. |

I have been waiting for my spoiler for over 17 weeks now, THAT'S OVER 1/3 OF A YEAR PEOPLE!
Mark originally contacted ME asking ME to purchase a C.F. version of the ZL1 1LE Spoiler since his sponsor car had gotten totaled ( not sure if that's even true). Told me that I had to pay THAT day or he would give it to someone else. I paid in full Aug 15. Since that day I have been met with endless reasons for the spoiler to have not shipped, a lot of the same as Denny and probably just that many more! - RK got behind due to SEMA - I will make them myself and ship it next week (over 2 months ago) - FAKE TRACKING NUMBER - Health issues - LA Fires Etc Etc Etc And that's just a brief summary, no need to write an essay listing all the B.S. I've been fed. Regardless I have been nothing but patient and cordial with Mark throughout this process, I genuinely peg him as a nice guy with good intentions, but somewhere along the line, all of this... I'm now being told that the clear had pinholes and is being redone and that the spoiler is "VERY close", well I sure hope that is the truth but who knows at this point. Whether I receive the spoiler or not, my experience with 6LEDesigns so far has been nothing short of miserable. I've got about 1 month left until I hit the 180 day mark in which I can no longer file a PayPal dispute so I sure hope they deliver soon. Mark has offered me a refund but if I wanted the the money I would have never purchased in the first place. Not to mention the hood ordered Oct 23rd that I haven't heard a peep about yet. If I do not get my spoiler and if it is not of exceptional quality you guys can expect a FULL write up of my experience in the Vender Feedback section of the forum along with a BBB claim. Good news though is that I got to meet Denny throughout all this as we've been in contact about this whole ordeal the past few weeks so there is at least a silver lining hahaha. Take caution if you plan to order from 6LE Designs guys, hopefully Mark rights the ship though as they have a ton of awesome Gen6 products! |
