Carbon Elite CAI

Has anyone tried the carbon elite CAI? $750 seems a little high for a CAI.

You'd have to be more than a little high to spend $750 for a CAI.

I just came from the German car world and intakes tend to be in that range. Looks nice, but I would only spend that kind of money if Eventuri produced one.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking prices for aftermarket parts are getting a little ridiculous.

If it is made from carbon fiber I can undestand the price but... I would not pay that much for one.

I was thinking the $400+ range of most of the cold air intakes on the market was ridiculous for something that was more like $250 not that long ago.

If it's all CF and high quality, we would surely buy one, if we had the new (2017+) ZL1 or brand new ZL1-1LE.

Seeing a Corolla, or Civic caked in carbon fiber from the factory takes away some of the allure for me anymore.

When you pop your hood at cars and caffeine and a backwards ball cap says "Ooooww, carbon fiber like on my V-tec, yo", just makes me want to go back to stock.

Who's got underglows for the 1LE?

Maybe it was a Rav 4, either way carbon fiber is plastered all over many econoboxes which has cheapened the appeal in my opinion.

All the European exotics have tons of carbon fiber. It is what it is. Pay or get off the pot.
