What would you consider a fair price to pay for a used 2017 1SS 1LE w/ PDR? Assuming approximately 6500 miles. Bone stock.

If I'm not mistaken, new 2018 models are selling for around $40k. Weighing the potential savings of buying lightly used vs buying new.

Most used ones are going for ~ $36-38K. If you can find a new one for your claimed $40K, you should jump on it.

Found several new 2018 1LE's within 250-500 miles of me for right at/under 40k..

I wish you luck with that. Jump on it! Most of the time, most buyers do not qualify for most/all discounts. *most of the time*

Thanks for the links! Anyone recently bought or sold a 2017 1LE that wouldn't mind sharing mileage, if it has PDR, and the price agreed to after negotiations?

Pretty standard practice now with dealers advertising prices. Includes stacked incentives you can't get, have to add in the $799+ dealer fee and add back in the destination charge. Or just plain lying about it.

There's a dealer local to me (Koons Tysons Chevy) that uses every one of the tactics you mentioned to mask the true price of their cars. Unfortunately, most people don't find out true pricing until after they have made a long trip with high hopes of buying a 1LE. Lucky for me, i live 7 miles away and didn't make a long trip to find this out. I wasn't pleased with dealing with them and would rather travel or buy lightly used than purchase at this dealer. It's a shame because it would such a convenient dealer for me.

I mention new 2018 pricing only to introduce a price ceiling to 2017's. If possible, i'd like to focus on collecting some actual sales data from forum members on what 2017 models have sold for. Hopefully if we get some good feedback, it will help a few buyers/sellers with price expectations.

Yep, I found this out with koons a a few other dealers. ALSO, some dealers advertise employee pricing on their website which is a complete joke. I asked a few outright why they do that. *Crickets*

I dealt with Koons, specifically the one in Maryland. I certainly didn't plan on traveling there until I had the deal in place. They got me to $40,750 on a non-PDR car. Not bad, but I found better. And yes, they pulled the whole not including destination charges in the price of the car trick. Which is BS considering it's par of the MSRP for the vehicle.

I may consider selling my summit white 2017 1LE, that has 1216 miles on it. I have $4000 in upgrades on the car, its perfect, garaged and covered. I special ordered the car with the PDR as well.
