About to order my F1A. Need help

So I've decided to go procharger F1A. Needing some help on what I NEED when ordering the bells and whistles. Race bypass valve? ATA intercooler or ATW? ATI balancer upgrade? Any input would help tremendously along with where to order from and what pricing I should be looking for. Thanks in advance. Loving this car!!

Just curious why your going with an f1a as opposed to an f1a-94? I did my setup through Houston house of power.

Bro...

Lets go back for a second here. Who's doing the install/tune? Whats the power goal? Stock Motor? Stock cubes? Upfront I would say the F1A is a lot of blower for a stock motor/cubes. That being said call your tuner/installer and work thru the options.

Agreed 100%! Kind of big for a stock cube/motor...

Swagger, Charlie540i, You guys do understand that there are guys running an F1A here that have done it on a "stock" motor. And i have one on a Stock cubic in motor. Where is the idea that the F1 too much for a 376 cubic inch motor? You guys do know that they have been run on smaller right?

F1A with a 4.5 pulley is the largest you can go it will make about 14psi*.
House of boost is who I went through. Those guys are great. Race bypass valve is strongly suggested. I would also suggest the race air to air intercooler. These are my opinions based on my experiences and nothing more.

This all comes down to power goals and what the engine build would be. Have other run the combo on a 377 or smaller cube motor? Of course, is it ideal or does it work well? Depends on who you ask... I haven't said he shouldn't do it, merely its a lot of blower for stock cubes in my opinion. If he only wants to make 700-800whp in the end I would tell him to run a D1X with the upgraded intercooler and so on. Its a better match in my opinion. If he wants 900-1k whp the F1A can work. My shop was pretty honest in saying for getting to 1k I needed the cubes for a well rounded combo of power/torque.

Its a matter of power goals, cubes and budget of course. Many ways to slice this carrot LOL. But thats why I asked the other questions as it tells us what he may ultimately need for his combo

If you are going to make big power with a D1X (like 4 digit power)

You will need someone to make an overdrive crank balancer.
Since we only (currently) make a 7.65" lower crank pulley, its hard to get that 4:10 gearbox up to big boy speed.

Thats all I have to add to this.

NOTE: We plan on making a larger crank pulley here soon for racing applications.

Stock motor. I mainly want to buy up for future. My goal is to buy the f1a and run a dual nozzle alky kit with a cam and long tubes installed and tuned all at once. Then later on in the future when funds build back up go for a forged 416. 700 plus is what I’m shooting for in the first go around. I appreciate all the feedback!

I'll say the F series blowers do great on stock cubes

Kevin Martin, Just ran a 9.27 at 151 on a forged stock cube F1A-94 A2A

42 Autosports, Just ran 8.88 with a F1A-94 on a forged stock cube set

Ryen Cunningham, Just ran 9.37 at 148 with F1A-94 on stock cube

I run a F1A A2W set up on a 416 its a great street blower. mine on pump gas and meth 850/792 with a crappy tune. Moving up to a F1A -94 and a better tune now.

Myself I'd just do a D1X and spin it and have fun, with the F1A work YES

Tim don't you know the F series is too much for anything under 416

When I say it didn't run well on stock cubes... I said the added cubes for my build created a better all round package???
