OEM vs Replica Wheels

Any noticeable differences between the two? Quality, Color etc.

Reason I'm asking is because, the shop that I had taken my car to installed satin black ZL1 Replica wheels. Thus, I am going to have them switch out the replicas for the OEMs instead. When I called the shop manager out on it - he claimed they are the correct wheels according to my VIN number. But that couldn't be the truth - as he would've gotten it correct the first time by installing OEM wheels.

night and day, replica's are heavy and not very round. I tried a few sets on my old vettes and the discount tire put the rims on the balancer by them self and turned them, my jaw dropped

stock ZL1 wheels are heavy as an anchor...Z/28 wheels on the other hand are relatively light. Replica wheels are always on the heavy side.

You can’t just say ‘either or” there are wheels that are replicas that are within perfect spec, lighter than an OEM wheel and powder coated instead of paint. Look around , do some investigation and make your decision. I suggest you ask Paul at PK Design.......

Thanks for the suggestion. I've made an edit to my post to provide more context behind the question.

What happened to the original OEM wheels?

I'd been more concerned about the speed rating and capabilities of the Replica's.

The original OEM wheels were stolen. Here is the OEM part # that I have for the wheels: 23355790
