Installing GMPP CAI and Axlebacks at same time

Guys

I think my question will be very specific (and unusual) but thought I would give it a try to see if anyone knows the answer.

On my 2016 2SS I have decided only to make mods that keep my warranty intact, so any powertrain mods will be with GM approved parts only.

I already have the GMPP axle backs which were installed last year and I am interested in adding the GMPP CAI.

Both of these come with an ECU flash from the dealer.

I am trying to work out if there are 3 versions of the Flash - one for Axlebacks only, one for CAI only and one for both? As I already have the flash for the Axlebacks wouldn't the CAI flash overwrite that? Or is the flash the same for both add ons?

Hope my question makes sense

Thanks

Mark

Not sure why the axleback would require a tune.

Kinda with you, but there is one that the dealer needs to install when they install the axle backs. No idea what it does, but guess it does something as don’t recall GM doing something for free unless they have to!!!

The Chevrolet Performance Exhaust includes a tune for the Active Noise Cancellation on your stereo. I will admit to being biased but I think it sounds awesome! If my car wasn't NPP, I would have put these mufflers on before my first tank of gas was gone.

Geoff. Thanks for the explanation, that makes a lot of sense

So I guess that is my question, if I install the CAI and get the GM tune that goes with that, do I lose the benefit of the Active Noise cancellation tune?

They will both work fine in Tandem. The CAI doesn't touch ANC.
