275/40R20 Do not fit with Magneride Struts
Luckily I had a spare MRR wheel and a 275/40R20 tire before I spent $1500 on my new tires. I just test fit a MRR M228 with a Pirelli 275/40R20 and it rubs the bottom of the Magneride strut mount. The standard struts must be a hair smaller or slightly different bottom mount on the strut so the tire will clear.
Just a warning for anyone trying to fit 275/40R20s up front. |

So standard struts the 275 40 does fit fine? I'm going to buy a 6th gen this week and part of the deal is I keep my rims off of my 5th gen and I've been Concerned if it will fit up front.

I read lots of threads on here that 275 40 20 fit, but I can confirm that they do not the Magneride (RPO F55) struts. Would need at least an 1/8" spacer to clear the bottom spring mount on the strut. |

ITT: guy wants to run a tire 1" taller than stock on a car already hampered with limited strut clearance.
