New wheels: BC Forged RS41
Thought I’d share a couple pictures of my new wheels for the ZL1. These came in this week, thanks again to PK Auto Design.
BC Forged RS41 19x10/19x12 in matte black Tires are Nitto NT01 in 305/30/19 and 325/30/19. Rear wheel weights are about 22.5lbs, while the fronts are about 21.5lbs. Wheels and tires together, I saved about 5lbs each corner in the front, and 7lbs each corner in the rear. Doesn't seem like a lot, but considering the tires are much wider it is appreciable to me. I’ve not experienced any rubbing with these specs, and the Nittos are much stickier that the stock tires. I’d highly recommend some sort of fender guard to protect against rocks from these tires. I’ll also be needing to get some lowering springs now. The fender gap seems a lot more obvious with the 19s. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Those look good. I agree that the fender gap needs to be closed up. Even with the 20's it is a little too much. What did you do with the stock wheels?

Thanks. Still got the stock wheels. I'll probably hang on to them for a while, might sell them down the road. One of the front wheels had already gotten a rock chip on it, so I may powder coat the wheels later on.

The smaller tire diameters is what makes the fender gap larger. Not much but enough.

I believe we have fitment issues with the magride shocks, where the 1LE has more room. I'm happy with this size, there is zero rub even though the tires bulge just a bit.

Really nice wheels. Love the look on your ZL1.
How much of a gap is there between fender and tire going from 20" to 19"? Is it about an inch? Did your ZL1 come with the updated springs that supposedly ZL1s got after April 2017? |

My ZL1 was built before April, but when I had them check the springs they said they were already the updated part and within specs.
