PowerStop Brake Pads

Has anyone who installed the Z26 pads had any issue with brake squeal? Thinking about replacing my '17SS OEM pads and don't want to deal with the squealing. Thanks.

None. Practically no dust and no noise.

I have a 17 SS as well. Zero noise from the pads and yes, virtually zero dust. I love the PowerStop pads!

Here is another post from me regarding my experience with the pads.

I do actually, but its only because the pads and rotor are cold in the morning. I park underground and the sequel only lasts for about two brake applications. Once warmed up nothing.

I did mine, did the rotor prep and put them on and no noise and no dust, and worth the money spent.

Put Powerstop on my 17 and it was the best decision ever. Mated them up with drilled and slotted rotors. I get a tiny bit of squeal first thing in the morning but the lack of dust far makes up for that.

I have a constant grinding noise, even not braking. Maybe because I didn't break them in properly.

Chevy Service said its normal for ceramic brake pads...

I would have someone else inspect them.

I would make sure that everything is bolted up properly and that nothing is loose or bent.

Zero squeel on my Z26 fronts. And very little dust. Certainly no grinding noises!

Put some on the rears for a trial run. Won't believe the difference in dust. No squealing or grinding for me
