Which aftermarket Exhaust is Closest to stock NPP sound?

If yours didnt come with 4 NPP but you want it to sound similar to NPP in sport mode, which aftermarket exhuast would you go for?

I didn't really get to hear NPP, but didn't want obnoxious/drone. I went with Borla S-Type axle-back and I'm very happy.

I struggled between the Borla ATAK and the flowmaster American thunder. Eventually bought the American thunder based on price and I liked how it sounded on videos. Not disappointed at all, I think my flowmaster sounds amazing personally. Low RPM, high RPM all sound good, no drone that I have ever heard. But I think between the two you couldn't go wrong, I haven't seen any others I liked. Magnaflow sounded good (the delete) but it also sounded wimpy when revved.

We are happy to hear that you're liking your American Thunder system!

To the OP, if you are considering our American Thunder system for the 16+ V6 Camaro LT here is a video to give you an idea about its sound. Additionally, if you would like to discuss exhaust options in a little more depth don't hesitate to give us a call at 707-544-4761.

What series mufflers are used in the #817743 system?
Thanks.

Boy isn’t that the million dollar question. Not even flowmaster could confirm to me what the version of muffler was, their information tells them it’s a resonator. It sounds good though so I don’t care.

When I'm in daily driving traffic, I get annoyed at how the car can make it sound like I'm trying to go fast, when I'm not.

I'm not sure if people who get louder exhausts realize how annoying it is, when they do that to their daily driver. I'd say about 1/2 of the Mustangs I go by on my way to work have modded their exhausts, and they're so loud and obnoxious. About 1/5 of the Camaros have, and the one V8 I saw driving in the opposite direction probably has had his car impounded by now.

I do like the slightly deeper quality of the factory NPP. But I believe that uses a special vacuum and probably works with the software in the car.
M hilariously ridiculous. I can barely hear my car with the windows up.
