Front splitter clearance

You guys with front splitters, do you find that you scrape them om the bottom alot more because of clearance?

No. I have had my fifty for almost a full year and have not hit anything. " Knock on wood ". I just make sure not to pull to close to things. I also have a good idea where it is when I'm seated. You just got to be careful.

How about scraping on the ground going into a parking lot with a grade? I've always pulled into higher parking lots in an angle but the way the splitter goes farther out on the sides it looks like it would scrape a lot.

clearance has never been a problem for me but now I'm probably jinxing it. However when parking where there is some type of raised curb or block I always back in.

I have gone into a few raised parking lots like that (pretty sever) and haven't scraped. You have more room then you think, just take it slow. Honestly, the flaps in front of the wheels are more likely to scrape than the splitter. If that is what is holding you back, I wouldnt worry about it.

The splitter on my 1LE is 1.5" lower on than on my friend's 50th. ANY curb would take this thing out so I'm super paranoid and careful to stay well back!

when you start the car you get two chirps to show you that the system is activated and working. read and watch the videos on their site.
