Before I pull the Borla trigger, anyone not like their Borla set up?

I thought I would do one last check before I drop $2K-ish on Borla. Most seem to like their purchase.
Anyone not like their Borla "parts"? If so what part number and why?

I will be ordering 60606 and 11924.

I love mine, Turns heads gets lot of smiles. Although I switch to touring mode or ease on to the throttle when I am near the police...lol

Love mine, and I have touring resonators on my S Type. I can still hear my stereo And it opens up nicely. If I wish a little more noise I can install the straight pipes.

I tried loud (Magnaflow) and couldn't live with it in normal driving. Dronnnnnnneeeee.

I'm guessing the only negative you'll find (maybe depending on personality) is most everyone has it. But then again, there's a reason why so many people have it so.

Just to kinda throw it out there.... I have Texas Speed headers, flowmaster x-pipe, and corsa extreme exhaust. It sounds great!

Borla makes a great exhaust & they do allow you to retain NPP functionality if you want to. I don't have Borla personally, I have the Corsa Xtreme AxleBack. It sounds absolutely amazing and I get compliments all time. You can't go wrong with Borla or Corsa--just depends on what your looking to do.

They are having issues with AFM valves on their x-pipes. If you plan on getting the carbon tips plan on waiting months.

I have the Atak axle back non NPP. The sound quality is great but sometimes I wish it wasn't so loud on middle and full throttle around town. You can really piss off your neighbors if you want to. The warm idle and cruising volume on highways is perfectly quiet and there's no drone.

When I first installed it in the car it didn't sound right in 4 cylinder mode with the AFM valves closed. I tracked it down to a vibration from installing it too far back and causing a hanger to touch the back bumper. I cut the stock pipes and pulled the exhaust in about 3/4 inch and the noise went away. Even so, the tips stick out more than the stock tips. I say go for S Type if you want Borla.

Ha! Nothing is wrong with the stock exhaust, just want a little bit more rumble and still maintain the NPP functionality. I have listened to the Borla sound video and believe they have what I am looking for.
