Which Oil??

I have been taking my car to the dealer. Its getting to be a pain in the arse. My question is, what oil is everyone using? Are you using Synthetic or Regular?

I used the Valvoline Full SYNpower 5w-30 dexos for my first change...I would suggest this or the Mobile 1 equivalent.

Dealership would be putting 5w-30 full synthetic Dexos 1. I've just had my 4th oil change done (today), all were with 5w-30 full synthetic Mobil 1. Only reason I did is because I got 4 free oil changes. So from now on, I will just be doing it in the garage. There is a reason why I have swisstrax flooring

+1 for 5w-30 full synthetic Mobil 1... I originally wanted to use Pennzoil Ultra Platinum - but it's hard to find right now in the 5 Qt containers.

Oil threads always end up the same way.... "use what I use" - nothing wrong with that. They are all good.

But don't overthink it. Go over to Walmart or your favorite store, and look at all the synthetic oil's that are on the shelf. Find one that's dexos certified, and A national brand name. Change it on a regular basis and you'll be fine.

Any Name brand Oil that meets Dexos 1 certification works great.
