Ernst Benz "Camaro Fifty" Watch (2/50)

https://www.ernstbenz.com/collection...00cm50dlc10pcs

This is a pretty sweet time piece, especially for Camaro Fans. #2 of Fifty.

It's a Swiss made Ernst Benz ChronoScope (Valjoux 7750) with a diamond like carbon (DLC) coated case and sapphire crystals.
The rear has a bowtie with the words Celebrating Fifty Years of Camaro.

Placed the order during the Woodward Dream cruise in Aug 2016, then ordered a Camaro which was built and delivered way faster.
The build took so long it should be a 51 watch now Just glad to finally have it.

The hand colors can be customized to your preference can be sent back to change out but I don't think I'll ever do that.
I did get a second band in case I want to save the one with VIN.

#1 and #50 will be auctioned for charity so this is the next number available.
It also matches up perfectly with my #2 built A10 car and has the VIN engraved in the band.

Exercise is way over-rated.

You "kids" with your phones for time just don't get it.....Nice watches are a great place to stick $$$$ if you do some research. I have quite a few that I paid $4-5K for that are now worth 3x's that amount in an emergency liquidation sale. Just like my nice cars, I can use them every day and when I am ready for something new, I get ALL of my $$$ back that I spent during my ownership. Yeah yeah, I am 50 years old, but I wish I knew ^^^^ this when I was 25.

Worth 3x as much. Haha. Have you seen Trading Places.
.."....This is a Rouchefoucauld. The thinnest water-resistant watch in the world. Singularly unique, sculptured in design, hand-crafted in Switzerland, and water resistant to three atmospheres. This is *the* sports watch of the '80s. Six thousand, nine hundred and fifty five dollars retail!*"

..."..In Philadelphia, it's worth 50 bucks"

I Only continued to wear the wrist watch while on duty in the military. Unless your in a profession that requires midnight thirty pression strikes the wrist watch has been replaced by the cell phone.

My Dad owens a Lexus NX Turbo and they have a clock in their dash that is so out of place, it reminds me of a wrist watch. Fail Lexus

Nice I like it, the down side is I would wear this as much as I drive my Camaro once a month. Then again I would like to have this to just add to my Camaro Fifty collection.

...at least someone gets it.

These are not for everyone... Ernst Benz watches are an investment, in addition to just being a fun to own collectible and wear from time to time.

I probably drive the car more than I'll wear this one but collecting a cool Fifty piece and matching it up to the car is fun. But then I'll probably have the watch a lot longer than the car.

Nice watch, I just picked up a automatic recently myself. Those of you who say watches are dead due to cell phones have never owned or worn a nice watch. I wear a nice Citizen daily or the new automatic I got which is a Lumi-Nox. For those nights the wife and I go out somewhere nice I throw on the Tag that she got me a couple of years ago.

Cool watch and the "engine" Valjoux 7750 is a bulletproof design. Mine is still running!

That is an ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS watch!!!!!!!!! Wished i would have known about it about 6-months ago, as I just bought a fairly high end Movado. Had I seen this, I would have bought / ordered one in a heartbeat!

CONGRATS!

I don't wear necklaces, bracelets, or rings. A nice watch is my jewelry. For everyday I like Seikos.
