I went with 18" Blizzacks.. Cant recall the exact size but I remember that the snows I had on my 5th gen didn't fit this one well..

Hi there,
I went with Michelin X Ice 3's. Used my OEM wheels - 245/50-18. Used daily last winter in Alberta. Selected 'snow/ice' mode and was actually very impressed. Bonus was the wife also felt very safe driving it. |

Hi Tej,
I ran 18s on my 2011 2LT with Michelin Ice tires. Now I run them on my 2017 2LT/RS. Drove from Kingston to home through a snow storm and had no problems whatsoever. |

Blizzaks or P-Sottozeros. The latter is what GM was running on their Camaros (ZL1s I believe) for winter driving.

I run Sottozero on an identical rim set as my summer tires so the car always looks the same and I don't have to mount, dismount constantly.
Sottozero is what Chevy runs on the Camaro test cars. They performed great in a WI winter This photo shows the stock SS tire and the similar size Sottozero

i went with the cheapest setup i could find. Stock 2010 camaro LS 18" rims with 225/60 R18 firestone winter force. I was $1000 for rims and tires installed.
No companies on the tires, a lot of road noise but they performed very well. Blizzaks on my girlfriends buick we're whisper quiet, the soto zeros come in stock SS size of tires but i think i was quoted $2600 for a set of tires. I ran this setup for 7000 km on my 2016 2SS with n o issues and will be doing again this winter. |
