Does anyone know the paint code for Hyper Blue ?
Dealer said it wasn't called Hyper Blue.

I just had my rockers and front splitter painted Hyper Blue last week and when the paint code was entered in the Mix-Master the name came out "Blue Me Away" the formula contains 9 different base mixes.

Yes, Blue me away is what the dealer called it. I thought he might have been wrong.

As Glen noted, GM paint codes typically accompany both the actual paint name along with a marketing color name. The marketing color names change between the brands and models even though some of the color codes are shared. Dealers might refer to them by either but the touch up paint will almost always be labeled by the manufacturers color name. This is also why it is always best to use the paint code when trying to get touch-up paint.

Straight Black is Raven Black on Cadillac but Black on Camaro. Silver Ice Metallic on Camaro is Quick Silver Metallic on Corvette. Nightfall Gray Metallic on Camaro is Watkins Glen Gray on Corvette, and so on.

Code ---> Paint manufacturers color name ---> Marketing color name for Camaro.

WA384A = Pot Meet Kettle Black = Mosiac Black Metallic

WA636R = Blade Silver = Silver Ice Metallic

WA8254 = Olympic White = Summit White

WA131X = Lemon Peel = Bright Yellow

WA130X = Pull Me Over Red = Red Hot

WA132X = Caught Red Handed = Garnet Red

WA401Y = Old Blue Eyes Metallic = Blue Velvet Metallic

WA388A = Blue Me Away = Hyper Blue Metallic
