Civics louder than my SS with NPP?

I went to a car show yesterday, and a lot of civics pulled in with aggressive exhausts systems. Some which I believe sounded more aggressive than my SS with NPP. I'm debating whether to get a MBRP or Borla Atak? I know theres other posts about these exhaust systems, but I honestly want personal advice about which one to get or any kind of advice on how I can make my car sound really aggressive thats legal in GA. Whether it be an engine mod or exhaust system mod, I'm looking for any kind of advice. I'm just tired of going to car meets and having cars like civics ,BRZs, and velosters having such an aggressive exhaust system than my SS.

There is a big difference between volume and quality. Just saying. Not that I'm against louder exhaust, I deleted the muffler on my V6...I just wanted to remind ya that a loud fart can and a more subtle V8...10/10 folks like the sound of your car more.

Yeah, a Borla Atak will solve the keeping-up-with-the-ricers problem.

You've gotta get your hearing checked. No 4 cylinder vehicle is going to sound more aggressive than a V8.

+1. As I research future exhaust plans, this is what I'm finding out. Each time I start a demo SS and drive it I am well pleased with the quality of the exhaust. Plus the sound gets fuller once its fully broken in over time... or so I'm told. Looking forward to finding out.

My Subaru has a growl that makes many cars blush with envy, my straight 6 Wrangler makes many folks ask if I put a SBC in it but neither are a V8. Both are louder than my SS but they don't sound as good. There is nothing and I mean nothing on this planet that sounds as good as high performance V8.

Oh, and Civic 4 bangers are one of the worst sounding engines in the world no matter what exhaust is on them.

I went with MBRP and like it much more than Borla. It's louder and has a deeper growl.

My son's your age. I think what you and I think are aggressive are totally different but I understand where you're coming from. My son's taste is not mine.

I would go with Borla Atak if you want aggressive with NPP and MBRP if you plan on getting away from NPP.
