MotorTrend says great things about Gen 6 SS after long term test

MotorTrend says great things about C6 SS after long term test:
"Absolutely world-class sports car performance and dynamics from an American icon. The new Camaro is one of the finest driver's cars in the world."
"Few cars offer as much enjoyment-per-mile as the Chevy Camaro SS."

As much of a testimony to the C6, it is also one to a skip shift eliminator for those of us with manual trannys. I agree on both accounts.

Like the fact they didn't pay for any repairs either. Reliability is good.

Car and Driver's Long Term Wrap-up (~40k miles) was very good as well. It's in this month's magazine.

Nice write up. I agree with most of their findings as well (but not all). First thing I did was install the CAGs eliminator as I know I wanted that out before I even picked up the car.

Beat me to it. ANOTHER glowing report (overall) on the 6th Gen SS.

Good read. Pretty much everything I've ever said about it to anyone who's asked.

Like my gen 5, it appears that the gen 6 can't really be your daily driver if you live in an urban environment.

Every parking garage visit is a crapshoot. Knock on wood, I haven't hit a curb yet.

What this car needs is a front camera as well as rear camera (I have neither) and automatic parallel parking.

I've owned my car since Dec '15 and I have no problems daily driving it.

Disagree on the gas mileage comments if you can keep your foot out of it;
I took a 50 mile trip to the Jersey shore, albeit it was flat, but my gas mileage was 30 mpg with a 70 mph average...I was shocked. How many mid-11 second 1/4 mile cars can claim that ?

I do agree that the interior storage is lacking a bit.
