YES! I caught that too! Let me add this: try to buy a new 350R at MSRP, not happening. So even better for us 1LE owners...

I've seen this but it's probably because of the track conditions. On the same day, ZL1 did about 1.8 sec slower than it's previous best lap. I would expect to see at least 1 sec difference between GT350R and 1LE on the same day/conditions. Even still, 1LE is a tremendous value considering the fact that it lacks the sticky 305/315 Cup2 rubbers and the ultra light (about 12 lbs on each corner) CF wheels

SS 1LE is actually, 1.6 sec slower than the GT350R at the Laguna Seca (1:36.11 vs 1:37.77)

Ford has lost their way, All the mustangs look alike, slow to do upgrades, They still have not released power numbers for the 2018 GT. The GT500 is a year plus away. They totally lost the game.

350R is a great car - I prefer my 1LE at $40k. My experience on track is that the driver makes the difference between the two cars. Plus, it wouldn't hurt to through MSC2s on the 1LE to balance things out but I love the GYs at $1,300!!!!!
