The Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk will go on sale by the end of the year but pricing has not yet been announced.

Well with enough engineering a semi truck could blow the doors off a Camaro.

Should've called it TrailCat.

We have all seen pumped up SUVs and trucks before - Lightning, Ram with a Viper engine, a few AMG's from Merc... Hell, I was just at the track in Phoenix and saw a crew cab Dodge 4x4 run high 8's in the 1/4 at over 160 - AND THAT WAS A DIESEL!!!!

Like said above - with enough engineering (and money) anything can be made fast.

Bottom line is this - it still won't be able to turn HAHA

There's some suv's out there that have some serious power. I had one next to me at a light one night and there were no other cars around. Light turns green and he guns it so I hit it as well and he stayed with me pretty good. I was inching ahead of him before I had to let off to make my turn but I was impressed. I think it was a dodge.

I'm sure the price difference between that and a camaro could pay for some pretty hefty modifications

YEP.....That in itself is a fact......just like the old sign in the speed says...."Speed cost money, How fast do you want to go!!"

and if its got wheels on it.....SOMEONE will make it faster. One of my other hobbies is golf carts, ya you heard me right GOLF CARTS. and an acquaintance of mine, Robbie Steen, holds the Guinness Book of World Records for the 1/4 mile in an ELECTRIC golf cart.....and it faster than a stock V6 Camaro, so there ya go! 12.24 at 118.76 mph.

I wouldn't mind having a Porsche SUV to sit in the garage next to my Camaro.

I am second on the list at my local Jeep dealership for one. Just waiting for the official price and official ordering banks to open up...buying it for my wife to replace her Mercedes SUV, but she doesn't know it yet lol. Pulley and a tune gets will get that motor to 900whp.

Yep, it's rumored to be close to $90k, at least that's what I am anticipating and budgeting for. $90k would buy you a ZL1 and lots of mods to go with it and still have a bunch of money left over. However if you need 4wd or AWD and a 4 doors and want some performance to go along with it the Trackhawk is the way to go.

It will be able to turn. My previous vehicle was a Grand Cherokee SRT with the 6.4 L Hemi and it would hit the same G's as my Camaro easy every time
