1LE with lowering Springs

Last week I went ahead and purchased Eibach pro kit lowering springs for my 1LE and performer an alignment afterwards. The kit advertises that it'll drop 1.1in. The complete install was pretty straight forward without any surprises. Here attached is just some quick pictures I snagged will installing. *the picture with the before and after is right after installment and the other two pictures after is 3 days after installment*! Once the springs settled in it looked even more aggressive! Hope y'all enjoy them and I'll answer questions. Be sure to follow me on Instagram @host1le_gen6 for extra content

Did this myself (see thread below) and ultimately uninstalled them...

Lowers the rear but not the front much - I also don't recommend tracking with these as the rates are the opposite of 1LE rates (vs Standard mag ride SS)... The rates make the car feel bounce-y and the rear feels eager to wiggle during near-limit cornering when you hit bumps. If you're never gonna track the car it's fine, but most don't buy a 1LE to never see a track...

@ridezx6r mine feel fine on bumps and everything. No complaints yet and honestly it rides better to me. I can say a Rep from Eibach called me and while he was on the phone he told me that theres a part number for the 1LE now since last week. The part number is e10-23-018-03-22, stores may not have them yet but You can call and get them from Eibach.

Interested in learning more about these, specifically the spring rates.

That's the same SS part number from a quick google search.

They did indeed feel nicer/softer/more compliant - and they should as they're a softer spring rate overall, but I noticed that when it came time to push the car thru corners - stock rates were more predictable.

*edit* - Google got me... part number is different... ends in 03-22 as opposed to 01-22

I think the SS part number is different from google. Instead of 03, the results are showing 01 for the SS springs?

Factory 1LE are linear, very consistent too. The shop was impressed with their consistency when I had them tested. As you know, the Eibachs are progressive with a large range to the rate in the rear.

Interested in seeing if Eibach goes linear for the 1LE edition spring or if it'll be another ride comfort setup.

Ah, you're right - Google doin' me dirty with the results algorithms

Sounds like it might be worth asking about these new ones then - Assuming the "03" version is what's on your car OP?

Yeah it's the 03 number. You should give Eibach a call and maybe they'll have some information for you
