Making the jump from to 2SSRS to ZL1!?

Hey guys,

I originally bought a 2011 RS which I swapped out for a 2014 2ssRS. Its that time again and id be fine with just swapping my 2ssRS for a 2017 but ill def feel like I pussed out not going to the ZL1. Im happy with mine as of now but someone has expressed a lot of interest in buying mine for a few thousand over the black book quote.... Ideally itd be the smartest to look for a 2016 ZL1 as itd be around 10k cheaper but they dont exist haha. Considering its June and they are already coming out with 2018, that complicates/simplifies things depending on your point of view. Looking for a few angels or devils on my shoulder on this one......

Now There's a good problem to have. I think I would have to swing for the fences on this one. A 16 ZL1??? Hell yeahs if you can make it happen. Otherwise, I'd still sell for a profit and upgrade (unless you're in love with your present Camaro).

With the favorable price changes announced I might even do the same next year for a 2SS myself.

What's really to debate? If it fits your budget, buy it.

What ever works best for you also 17 was the 1st year for the 6th Gen ZL1 (not available in 2016).

IMHO if you can make it work jump to the 6th well worth the upgraded features IMHO.

I had a 2010 2SS and upgraded to the ZL1. I don't miss the old car even though I thought I would. I was really happy with the old car. The ZL1 is simply amazing though. Good luck!

I think the ZL1 is awesome.

But....the 2SS is awesome too.....for 15-20k less the differences aren't worth that to me.

If I could keep the same payment, and trade my 2SS in 1-2 years for a ZL1, maybe even a 1 year old ZL1....possibly, but I am very happy with the 2SS!

I have to pick it up Thursday, took a few pics today.

They still have to install the Redline Edition grill which is featured on the silver one

Not to nitpick but there is no such thing as a 2SS/RS. All SSs by definition have the RS package reserved for 1 and 2 LTs. RS is not an option for an SS. It is an SS. For future reference.
