Hello,

Just wondering when...

1.) The ZL1 1LE will actually begin to be available. Based on past timing, do any of you guys know when New (2018) models actually start making their way into the hands of actual consumers?

and

2.) Any idea when the media blackout (assuming there is such a thing) will be lifted and we will actually start seeing reviews of the actual car?

I'm guessing if 2018 production begins the middle of June, the first ZL1 1LE's will start showing up 3rd week of July. But I have no clue. 😂😂

Was told that they're planning a Media Blitz when the 1st 2018 1LE is delivered.

That'll be to Rick Hendrick, iirc....

Based on the shipping of the regular ZL1...the first of these could be delivered as early as late June. Like 2SSRS said, they are building them the week of the 12th.

Some of us lucky ducks already have 3400 status on the orders!

What we don't know is how QC will play into this. They aren't building many each month...maybe 60-80...so I hope it won't take very long to approve the cars for shipping.

Fingers crossed a few of us will be rolling into Bowling Green with them!

will a friend told me that its only a Zl1 with new rims and tires and some small mods at the plant so he thinks there will only be a small delay if any, and on that note, what do you think for the plate?

I was thinking the same thing...it's a ZL1, and they've got that down pat. But the hood wrap is unique (shape and size), the suspension is tricked out (new parts not on any other car, like the camber plates), and the wing (all CF) will have to be perfect, or it won't ship...

So....fingers crossed, I have high hopes!

License plate...I already have "BIG AERO" reserved in the state.
