2016 Camaro SS jerking after ProCharger Install

Can anyone please help me. I have recently procharged my 6 speed manual 2016 Camaro SS. After I picked it up from being in the shop it now jerks upon acceleration. This never happened before. It started when I picked it up after the procharger was installed. It mostly happens when I accelerate in 1st,2nd,3rd or 4th gear when I step on it. It jerks violently. It seems to happen only when I accelerate quickly. If I accelerate slowly it does not jerk. I'm pretty sure every time the jerking happens it jerks three times. I'd like to hear from anyone on here what this might be. Could this have damaged my engine in any way?

Cari from ProCharger recommended Jeff Drozdowski from Bank Street Auto in Orchard Park, NY to do the install since I live nearby. When I mentioned this problem to Jeff he suggested I turn traction control and stability control off. I did this and the problem persists. Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated. Thank you!!

I've never heard of Bank Street Auto. Do they routinely install superchargers on GM cars? I would have recommended New Era Performance in Rochester, NY.

My uncle told me to go to turbo Mike but ProCharger recommended Bank Street Auto because I live so close. I am starting to regret my decision. I'm not happy with the work that has been done on my car.

Have you ever heard of the jerking happening? Any idea what it sounds like it could be?

I would bring it to a good performance shop to have them check it out and see what they think. Yes, it's going to cost you a little more money, but you made a substantial investment already, you want to make sure it's correct and tuned properly. I would never go to just any shop for something like that, always go to a shop with a good reputation for doing work and tuning on performance cars. Hopefully it's nothing serious and another shop can get you all taken care of without another large and costly expensive.

This is just an internet diagnosis from the limited information you're currently able to provide... It's likely the throttle closing and opening causing the jerking sensation. This isn't your foot, it's in the tune. The reason it only does it when you accelerate quickly is because it's over running the expected torque for the current throttle pedal position.

Does your car have any mods besides the procharger? And did you pay for a complete kit including the handheld tuner? If so, are you certain it was installed?

I don't have any idea what it could be. Mike has installed a ProCharger on the 6th Gen Camaro, it was on their shop car--so he knows the system and plus he has a dyno to properly tune the car. Like mentioned above, it sucks to pay more money but I would reach out to them. I would call ProCharger and ask why they recommended that shop and also explain the issue to them.

I'd bring it to New Era to check out. Most likely it's a tune issue.

Procharger sends customers to there dealers which they should. Around here I get a lot of tunes from shops that install Prochargers. They can install but have no clue on how to tune them properly.

Not the first post I like seeing after a long weekend....

If it's OUR tune, please send me your blowers serial number to tuning@procharger.com so that I can triple check the file that was sent out.

There is be NO difference in how the car runs and drive from stock, to our file.
Other than a LOT more HP when you put your foot down.

Thank you everyone for your help and advice. I will have Jeff send you (Procharger)the serial number. I called one of your techs this morning and they asked if the spark plugs were gapped. I am not sure if Jeff at Bank Street did this. How would this contribute to the problem? Moving forward I will make the trip to Rochester NY to have Mike from New Era Performance do any other upgrades etc. Thanks everyone.

The correct spark plugs need to be used.

1 heat range colder (highly and strongly recommended)
Gapped down at .028-.032 to keep from blowing out the spark.

Sounds like the spark was blowing out from incorrect gap.
