I believe someone said that they had decent passes with tour mode.

Comparing best 1/4 time with Tour mode vs Track mode would be very interesting. Also with and without the traction nanny. Anybody done this?

Can't you adjust the engine to track & suspension to tour from the screen??

I recall a vid of hellcat getting its fastest time when they were making several passes with this set up.

Curious about this too.

I know there are 4 driving modes, but in a video I was watching I saw you could adjust some parameters from the screen.

This led me to believe you could adjust steering/suspension/throttle/trans (if A10) response independently.

Ideally, you would want the suspension in the softest mode ("Tour" on this car?) to get a better launch, and engine/trans in "Track" for drag racing.

Edit: Looks like you can, from this:
It also gave me some insight on another thread I started.

Are you going to try comparing your shifting vs letting it shift by itself?

You will be hard pressed to hook up with a stock type tire. Save the tires, buy some extra wheels and sticky tires, you'll be money and frustration ahead.

I thought so too...when I first got it, I remember playing with the screen & putting steering & suspension in tour while keeping the engine/exhaust in sport or track. Made for good in town driving & think I'll start using this feature again.

I simply just moved to pushing the button for some reason...never thought about the versatility for the strip till now.

Your 11.2 was with stock tires? I assume you heated em up a bit first....

Stock tires and I cooked them real good. They get nice and soft when heated up.

Some of the questions you guys are having have been discussed over here in the 1/4m drag race and launch threads, here: there's some PDR stuff too. I also have found stuff in the Vette forum. Good luck.
