6th Gen Camaro 1SS/2SS aftermarket upgrade to 1LE - is it possible yet?
For starters I have a 2017 1SS and I'm happy with it so far but that 1LE is looking quite wonderful. I'm not really a big interior guy so those changes aren't very important to me outside of the short throw shifter.
But everything else drivetrain and suspension wise is quite appetizing, particularly the FE3 to FE4 suspension upgrade. Does anyone know of a company who is offering an upgrade package or one that plans to? Is this even a feasible idea? I can't be the only one eyeing an aftermarket upgrade option for their 1SS/2SS! |

I'm with you in spirit; I'd love to have the eLSD and FE4 suspension, but I won't be holding my breath for the foreseeable future.

I am sure all of the parts will be available from GM Performance parts if they are not already.

Search is your friend for the wheels. https://www.mrrwheels.com/collection.../products/m017
I think they are a sponsor here as well. Tons of threads on their Z/28 and 1LE super high quality replicas. Keep an eye out for GM to make some things available.

A GM 1LE suspension kit is available for '17s already. It does not include the eLSD, wheels/tires, 6pots, or MRC if you car didn't come with it. It does have a flash to update MRC to the version used in the 1LE.

I know that Chevrolet plans on releasing the FE4 suspension as an upgrade plus you can get the 1LE MCR update (Flash) through GM.
I would keep an eye out here That GM Parts Guy usually knows when parts come out from GM.

Everything from the 1LE can be retrofitted with the exception of the eLSD. PDR is being worked on now and should be available through gen5diy.
I would expect the eLSD to be retrofitted eventually in the aftermarket. It'll just take time, money and curiosity to the right person.
