Not sure if i'm being overly critical here but either that is a very poor installation or the part doesn't fit very well. I tend to think its poor fitting as the line at the bottom of the where it meets the lower line of the tail lights is actually pretty good.
Have a look at the spots circled. That would drive me crazy if I had to look those gaps but I love the style.
