When are we getting an H-pipe?
I really want to get an H Pipe... but none of the companies seem to be interested in making one for our cars... Do I have to get one custom built from a muffler shop then? Or is there one on the way that I don't know about...

Just going to leave this right here. There is a reason GM uses X Pipes. |

I know the reason.... However I want more low end torque since I lost some after removing my rear cats.... Also I prefer the deeper classic rumble from a H pipe over the high pitch rasp from a X pipe

Might wanna think about your HP gain
“As for the difference in power gain between the two, it is very minimal. The X-pipe will usually make anywhere from two to four more horsepower than an H-pipe. The slight horsepower difference comes from the way the X-pipe creates a venturi effect, which helps pull the exhaust gases out of the cylinder faster. Overall, the main difference is sound rather than performance, meaning there are no pros or cons. It’s simply a matter of personal preference.” |

Feel free to DM me if you're interested in any details! I worked with them on developing the V2 and V3 systems that they currently sell for the 2016+ LT1 Camaro, and don't have an issue setting you up with one of their guys to get the ball rolling if you'd like.

As for sound, I've had both and the Xpipe sounds better to me. Just my thoughts, no one needs to get all worked up lol. I've had so many people compliment my car on how it sounds. I don't think 99% of the public has any idea what and X pipe even is on my car. They just love how awesome it sounds. Just reassures me that my Borla purchase was the right purchase. Kooks are going on soon

MRT is the only one I know of. Otherwise I've seen two other members go the custom route for H-pipes. Both had no regrets at the end, I remembered their review saying it had more gurgles and pops and sounded a lot more muscle like after. One of them claimed it felt like they had a little more low end grunt, but could be placebo. Neither did a dyno since it's really not worth the time.
Personally I'm thinking of going the H-pipe route as well after I see a few more folks try it out themselves |

If borla or MagnaFlow offered a midpipe kit like they do for xpipes that'd be an automatic buy!
His custom job is beautiful tho. Well done by that shop |
