Wider tires on OEM rims?

Was thinking of getting the Pilot Sport 4S for my 6 Gen SS. Do you think these sizes are too wide for the stock rims? 275/35/20 - Front
295/35/20 - Rear

If so, should I just go down to 265 Front and 285 Rear?

I thought you should never go more than 2 sizes up?

The Pilot Sport 4S isn't currently offered in 295/35R20 but the Pilot Super Sport is. You can go one size up on stock wheels and stay within Michelin's wheel recommendations.

So I could go 255/40/20 Fronts and 285/35/20 Rears?

Fascination of squeezing on fat tires is interesting. No performance benefit. Just looks...

That what I'm running, but only because the stock sizes aren't available in my tires. They fill out the wheel well better a little taller and a little wider, but nothing crazy.

How are they not offered in 295 but in 285s/305s? That's odd.

Michelin PS4S
Michelin Pilot Sport 4S
(2) 285/30R20
(2) 305/30R20

EDIT: ahh 35, didn't see that.

I ran this size in RS3s last year.
