AF Dynamic Air Intake review

I bought this intake off of Ebay, but I have seen it on Amazon as well. Its advertised to fit '16 and '17 2.0 Camaros.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/152507282305...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Was shipped quickly, but that would depend on your seller. Was packaged well, big outer box and all items were individually sealed/wrapped. Included instructions and all parts listed on the parts list. The instructions did have a step saying to install a "bulb edge seal" around the whole the intake goes through the heatshield, but this was not included and not listed in the parts. Also, as a few of you know the '16 to '17 pcv tube fitting changed, and it does not include a tool to get that off, but I had a fuel line disconnect that fit quite well.

Overall finish is nice, the heatshield included some stick on reflective heat insulator type stuff. It does not use the factory air grommets, but some rubber isolators you install.

The maf fitting is nice, and the maf fit and sealed well. 40 miles and no check engine light.

One problems I ran into, because mine is a '17 and these were changes from the '16.

The pcv tube would not fit back on the fitting. Measuring it versus my factory air tube its about 1-2mm longer. Like I said maybe the '16 was different, but my pcv hose would not "Click" back on. I am going to take my grinder and cut off a little bit of it so it will fit and click on.

So overall minor issues in the realm of modding, and the intake was half the cost of any others. You can hear the turbo spool and bypass very well.

PS as noted by DWS909 it is a copy of the Injen intake

*New pictures coming this evening, fixing the tube and adjusting filter.

You can just see the lip that the pcv fitting "clicks" on, it just was too long to reach it. Shortening the pipe will fix it im sure, but just a heads up to someone wanting to put it straight on out the box.

Question, does it still draw fresh from the grill duct that connects to the stock box?

Dont know if this was the reason your filter did not fit but, the filter is supposed to sit flush up against the MAF port and the hose clamp is supposed to be on the other side of the heat shield. This is a knock off of the Injen intake without the box.https://www.autohance.com/injen-pf-s...FQuAfgodaWwKfQ

Your AIR injection tube isn't fitting because 17's came with a different fitting than 16's. If you search around here, you'll find the remedy.

I did have I thought it was a copy of the Injen originally but changed the page before I posted and forgot it when I retyped it lol. I might try it that way and see if it fits any better when I take the tube off tonight to correct the pcv fitting.

Thank you, I shoved it on there more and played with it and it justs fits without scrunching. So only problem was the '16-'17 fitting tube being too long.

thats gotta be it, should push the filter through the heatshield then clamp on the "hot" side

What are your Long Term Fuel Trim percentages at idle with that intake?

Not sure, want to get injection hose fitting correctly then I will check it. Car has about 1500 miles on it and bone stock until this.

What were your initial driving impressions? How does it feel? Did you notice a significant difference over the stock set up? Thank you for sharing this. Please post more pictures and a sound clip if you can.
