Clear Shield Door Package
I bought a new 2016 Camaro 2SS Convertible a couple of months ago. I was going through my paperwork and noticed a small dealer sticker with Dealer-Added Equipment of-"Clear Shield Door Package."
Does anyone know what this is? Was it an up-sell by the dealership? Does it really add anything? Any special care that needs to be taken with this product? |

It's basically a rip off if they charged more than $25. It's usually a thin clear film that goes around the door edge to protect against dings. Available on Amazon for 25 bucks it's peel and stick.

Thanks for the response. Yes, it is under the cups of the handles and along the door edge. My Camaro was traded from one dealership to another. It was not on the new dealerships sticker or invoice. So I guess I got it for no cost!
