Drivers seat automatically moved back while driving?

So i was driving diwn the road while in 5th gear and all of the sudden, my drivers side seat starts to move im the all the way back position. Wtf? So i pressed the 1 key on the door and held it back down ( memory) to move it back up while still driving. What gives?

I've not had that happen, but I did turn the option off to prevent automatic movement of my seat in the menu. Truthfully that could be dangerous in a manual car epecially if you're not tall enough to continue reaching the pedals and see what's in front of you after the seats slide to the back.

Here are a few ideas:

- Maybe the switch on the seat is faulty?
- Do you have the easy exit option set where it moves the seat back when the driver door opens? If so, maybe the door sensor for a brief moment thought the door was open.
- Any chance the "2" was bumped and is programmed for the seat to be all the way in the back position?

I don't think any of that applied.. I did look at all scenarios more closely after I parked. only thing I can think is that A) could be a faulty switch. B) the car was ticked at me for some reason?

My less than 2 week old 2SS just did the same thing and memory buttons became non-responsive. Shut down and restarted... had to use the switches on the seat to get it back where I wanted it. Started driving and it gave a couple of rearward blips, then 30 sec later it decided to move all the way back again. Shut down for 30 min, restarted and memory switches were working again. 2 miles down the road seat slides back all the way again. Seems to be a controller or comms issue.

Cars have too many damn electronics in them. They can't be trusted.
