Dealer Service Recommendation

Having some trans issues with shuddering. Research on here has lead me to believe it is a torque convertor issue. What's the best dealer to deal with that isn't going to give me the run around and just fix the problem.

I'm in Baltimore area.

I am starting to think I'm having this same issue. Mine shifts from 1st to 2nd rough when going slow speeds. It's done it about 10 times recently. I also started noticing that on roads I travel all the time the car starts shaking. It almost feels like the wheels aren't balanced but then once it warms up it goes away. I don't have any recommendations but I will just be taking mine to my local dealer. I have to take my catch can out before though.

I have always had pretty good luck with pohanka in Chantilly, but that might be a drive for you

Jerry's Chevrolet has always taken good care of my 2012 ZL1. The one MAJOR service was the replacement of the super charger replaced under warranty no problems along with a couple other recalls.

Win-kelly Chevy Is really good and I highly recommend them. Just had my m6 trans taken apart and put back together by byran their vet guy and he know his stuff! Its better than new! They also have a body shop and dont mind doing warranty paint repairs. I will never take my cars anywhere else. Talk to AL.

Criswell in Gaithersburg is one of the largest Corvette dealers in the country (Corvette has the same issue)

Thought I would post my experience so far with Koon's Chevrolet in White Marsh. Dropped off the car Monday 5/1 at 8:30 AM per appointment. They shuttled me over to my job which is about 3 miles away, however, I live about 30 miles away.

Rep said she would call by 1:00 PM with an update. No call. I called at 4:10 PM to find out what was going on. Was told Tech could not re-create the shutter even after I gave incredibly detailed info on how to re-create it, ie., gear, RPM range, how long it usually took before I felt it (25 minutes).

Was told shuttle driver had left for the day. Asked what time Service Manager was leaving. Was told 5 PM. Told her I was not waiting for another shuttle driver, I would get a ride right over. Met the Service Manager who was a very nice guy. He apologized and said the Tech did not drive the car far enough or hard enough. Said he had seen it 3 times before and he would personally drive car the next morning and he would be able to re-create it. Gave me a loaner for night.

Rep called me first thing this morning and said Manager was able to re-create shutter and they had put their Corvette tech on it. They are flushing the transmission 5 times. Said they have never had one come back for a convertor after the 5 time flush.

I'll be picking up tomorrow morning and will give an update. Started off kind of rocky, but it seems they are trying to make it right.

Got car back today. Per TSB they said to drive it at least 200 miles for it to relearn.

Bump for service recommendations! I'm in central MD and looking for a dealer to apply my complimentary oil changes. Currently looking at win-Kelly or jerry's based on the recommendations here. Just wanted to see if there were any updated recommendations.
