Found a Nice Android data cable in gray

made by ANKER, $11.99 on amazon, matches the interior gray stitching. works with android auto no issues.

This might be dumb, but how did you get Pandora to run in Android Auto? I know I can get Pandora to run through Bluetooth audio, but would love to have the full functionally of Pandora in my car if all possible.

The mount if from http://www.wuteku.com/. the cable I just slid under the side of the console and arounf the back of the HVAC. Pandora/spotify/google music are all available thru android auto app.

I like it but not sure I want to use adhesive on the dash unless it's on the plastic somewhere.

that panel I attached it to is a synthetic material. have not had any issues with it at all. highly recommend it

thats why you need to hardwire your phone in and all that comes up in android auto

Hard wire in? As plug a USB in and into the phone? That's how I have been doing it.

YES. then when you select android auto, select the headphones, you'll see a tab next to the headphones, lets you select different music apps.

What part of the dash did you attach the mount to? Would you take a close up picture where the mount attaches? Thank You for the information you have already posted!

If i'm using Android Auto, what is the point of being able to see my phone? it is locked when running Android auto.

you can easily bypass the android auto lock, my wife will watch you tube videos on my phone when were on longer trips.
