Advice on color and wheels

I'm getting close to pulling the trigger on a 2SS from dealer inventory. I'm torn between hyper blue and nightfall grey, and both are available with either bright silver or black wheels.

When I first started looking, I was set on black wheels, but now I'm wondering how they'll look over time with nicks and scratches; it's probably a little harder to tell with the silver wheels. And as far as nightfall grey, is it difficult to keep looking clean? This will be a daily driver for me, so it's going to be out and about a lot.

Man Hyper Blue and black wheels are a killer look...

Have you considered a 1LE? That car in blue is as close to perfect as it gets.

(and I have a white one lol)

Blue car black wheels if that's the two options you narrowed it down to. I personally hate dark color cars and would never own one and hyper blue is fantastic.

I would definitely go with black wheels as the brake dust is horrible.

I pulled the trigger on a factory order with hyper blue and black wheels. I have a black car now and was looking at the night fall but decided it did not shine up as nice. The hyper blue looks great with black wheels, gloss black front splinter, red accents in the front grill and SS center caps.

I have the NGM with black wheels. I was between the same two colors as you, but for me Gray was the way to go. I didn't know how long I would want a bright blue car (but it is gorgeous), and although its small, I didn't like all the red SS branding with the blue. The NGM looks great and I would choose it over the blue again. Also black wheels 100% not only do they look better IMO but the brake dust is insane on the silver.

I think the hyper blue & silver wheels really pop. The NFG with silver wheels also looks awesome. I also am old school & while I like my black wheels OK, to me the black wheel fad isn't a great one.

I had the same "dilemma"......Hyper blue vs. Nightfall Gray metallic. My two favorites..... It turned out it was easy for me as I opted for the 50 Anniversary which was only available in the NGM. It's not that difficult to keep clean. Never really been a fan of black rims - guess I'm just "old skool" and like the shine of aluminum and chrome. Having said that, I REALLY like the black rims on the ZL1.....

I would go with this combo.

While I have had grey cars in the past and they looked awesome. I did feel like I got bored with the color quick.

Here's mine. As far as nick/scratches, it's easily to hid them on black wheels...just use some touch up paint. Can't do that with machined wheels. As for brake dust the black definitely don't advertise it like machined wheels. But it's also clearly a different color black when cleaned. But your choice should be on what you like best, not what is easier to cover up accidents/dust lol
