How to get a louder npp?
I'm thinking about muffler delete but that is my last action because I don't want to lose power and have a laggy throttle response.
What are my options to get it louder but not lose the back pressure and power? |

Why do you think you will lose power and have a laggy throttle response? I'm not sure what you're asking?

Long tubes, x-pipe, tune. Enjoy the sound and added power, keep the ability to adjust the levels...

I dropped my suitcase stock muffler and added a "Y" pipe with one pipe on the inside hooked up to flowmater's 401 outlaw mufflers and the outside pipe free flowing. Kept the values and added the same tips that are on the 401 flowmasters muftlers. Very happy and my mod switch still works. Never noticed any reductions in power or lag in acceleration.

Do you guys think the borla atak NPP axleback will be a big improvement over the stock NPP sound?

Having watched many comparison videos along with listening to a few of my buddies, i'd say headers or cat delete. Borla (for the pirce) in my opion is not worth it at all. Headers are louder and you'll atleast get some power to the wheels vs an exauhst. Or go the cheaper way with cat delete, very loud not as good of a tone though.

Yes but all of those options will void my warranty and take me out of street classification in autocross. I'm not worried about power or else i wouldn't even be considering an axle back.

I've had this question as well. I'm about ready to pull the trigger On the Borla atak with npp valves and the Xpipe (about $2200). I'm really just wanting more volume. Not sure what route to go, and not having heard the Borla in person, not sure how much louder it would be.

Also to add to that last post... I was trying to avoid getting a tune, (not sure why, just feel like it would be a headache)... I do realize long tubes would be the best route for just sound. Ugh. Not sure what to do... $2200 is a lot for what could be just minimal difference.

If you're undecided on spending $2200 on an axle back, try the muffler delete for less money and see if you like it. If you don't, it's not much more money spent and you'll have to remove the suitcase anyway.
I did the muffler delete with two straight pipes going thru the NPP valves. It's still louder with the valves open but not all that loud on the highway, which is good. Sounds great at low speed and street speeds.

2nd cat delete does not void powertrain or B2B warranty. It's covered under a federal emissions warranty. And if you run a a catback, wouldn't that not you out of street classification?
