2017 vs 2018 ?

Other than price and availability do you think 2018 Camaros will offer more performance than the 16-17's ?
I'm ready for a 1SS automatic with dual mode exhaust. Preferably the dark red.
Would you wait or go for it ?
Thanks.

Ditto on getting a 2017! Wait a few months and you might get a better deal but you might be limited on options, colors etc.. If it matters to you a 2017 has Fifty on the bottom of the steering wheel making it kind of special. There will never be a 50th anniversary Camaro again. Good luck with your decision!

Larietrope, I see you have a 1970 Boss Mustang in your info. Although I'm a Chevy guy I love the 1970 Mustang!!

I doubt there will be any performance upgrades to the 1SS.

I am going for a 17 as I want a 50Th anniversary model just in case we do not see a 60Th.

I say go for it does not look like any improvements for 18.

The major change for the 2018s? They're getting a low washer fluid sensor and indicator. Oooooh.

Here I thought this was standard issue on cars these days.

Get a 2017 1LE I love mine and it has all the goodies I need. I don't need the fancy lighting and heated seat with recaros. Driving the manual is fun again.

Well, apparently the Canadian spec Camaros have had them since day one. Since Canada is covered in snow half the year I would probably say that's a good thing for them lol.

It probably comes down to saving costs on production. By making all washer fluid reservoirs with the sensor hole built in it actually saves on production costs instead of having two different reservoirs and part numbers.

The 2010-11 LT's didn't even have a low oil indicator if you can believe that.

Given that the 17's still seem to be suffering from first year issues, I'd wait for the 18.
