Whipple installed at a shop near me

So a shop near me just did a whipple on a 6th gen and it's making 612/590 with the whipple and headers that's good numbers ...

NO, that's probably out of the box, then play, get more HP/TQ more $$$ TOYS, gotta love it.

I was under the impression, and with Ted Jannetty's research, that our cars get at max 560ish HP with the fuel being limited. Now, you upgrade the fuel system to LT4 stuff, that's a different story.

Ya im not sure what dyno that shop has..but they said its just the whipple with headers and they didnt say nothing about fuel upgrades... so could be a happy dyno lol....

yup just found out its on stock fuel system also and no meth... and they have a dyno jet.

PC rep and a few other people on here have cited that some of these cars come with really peppy fuel systems (based on their xp with c7s and gen6s)... This guy got lucky

A happy fuel pump. Or then again the magic of a whipple to over come such things.

On regular 93 octane 600rwhp is very possible. It's been those who have switched to E85 that are having issues at 600rwhp. Remember that E85 burns about 30% more than 93 octane. I'd also have to say that obviously a 2.9L Whipple will make more power at any boost level than a 2.3L maggie PD charger.

Nope.

Same shop tested my stock Gen 6, auto trans, and best pull was 395hp, SAE corrected with smoothing 5. Not really a happy number now is it.
