Some new appearance mods / 1LE folks might not dig this...
I felt for a long while that the hood wrap looks great on high contrast colors like white, red or yellow - where the wrap really stands out... However on black, mosaic black, dark gray etc - I always felt like it just makes the car look incomplete - like GM just forgot to paint the hood...
So I pulled the wrap off yesterday... Also pulled off the fender badges, the rear SS badge as well... and put some big worm matte black/red hash marks and the 1LE badge on the rear wickerbill. Sorry for camera phone quality... Will post better professional pics once I get em.   previously...

I always felt that the flat black hood looks best on darker colors, and swore that if I ended up with a white 1LE I would pull the wrap off just as you did. Looks good either way!

looks good! I'm waiting to see how my hood wrap holds up. Once its shot or i'm sick of it, i see myself pulling it off as well. I'm also debating pulling the SS badge off the back and the side badges. I don't like the red,white and blue. Looks French! I know the french colors are reversed, but i'm still not okay with it.
