Single LED map light, how to turn off/disable??

That single little white LED light above where the map lights are, stays on when you are driving. How the hell do I turn it off???

Please help. I dont want to yank it out, or put some black tape over it. But I will if I have to.

As far as I know, we can't turn it off. We all just get used to it.

Its like leaving a map light on. So annoying. I may put a piece of black electrical tape over it. Or try and remove the bulb.

You can't turn that one off, and you can't stop the other two from coming on when you open the door.

The overhead console is held in place by spring clips, so it just pulls down/off.

Pull console down, unplug the offending light, pop console back into place, beer.
