Angry 2.5mo old/Headed to the shop

Get in to leave for work this evening, get on the highway in touring mode. Switch to Sport mode and then all of a sudden the front Driver strut started clunking and sounding like it was going to just fall off with every slight bump. Didn't have time to check anything out, but I'll definitely keep this thread up to date after I get out of work in the AM.

Hoping it's a free fix for you! Shocks are considered a wear item; but after only 2.5 months, I hope they cut you some slack.

$5 says it's a loose sway bar end link

That was my first hope, but that would've been too easy (not something that happens often with me!), so I'm gonna assume a loose/damaged strut and if its the sway bar, it's a win!

similar thing happened to me and I shared my experience here. (see below link). People didn't seem to care about it much though
I am not 100% sure if that's the same exact thing but it sounds like it

Awesome! Thank you for that. I still have not had time to look into it yet due to work, but I have a very good feeling now that it's the end links.

Didn't notice that thread, almost seems to be better to just post in the 1LE section.

Glad it was an easy fix, I haven't heard any noises from mine yet...

Sure thing.I am willing to bet you it's the end links and would be surprised if it turned out something else since it sounds exactly the same

I highly doubt it's a 1LE specific issue so that I wanted to post it on the Issues/Recalls section

You're welcome I've attended my second event this past Friday and didn't notice anything after tightening that bolt

Didn't have time to take it where my lift is, but made a makeshift ramp at the house and it was the top driver end link! Turned it a little over a 1/4 turn, bingo! Planning on doing a ported IM/TB, Rotofab, Tune, and dyno this coming weekend and I'll double check the other end links then. Thanks again!

j/k! Glad you found it! It's LOUD, isn't it? Scared the shit out of me when I first heard it, thought a control arm came loose.

Haha come to Tx and I'll buy you a beer
Yeah the sound definitely seemed like something more serious than a 1/4 turn on an end link for sure!
