Did a couple 0-60 runs this afternoon

Both times the car bogged off the launch so I can definitely see 3.5-3.6 with the m6. Will possibly try a few more times tonight to get some mid 3's. They key that I'm not seeing in some of these online videos of zl1 m6 0-60 runs is that they are shifting too early. This car will do 61-62 in first gear. Don't shift before then and you'll get a sub 4 time easily.

Not too bad at all. Now take it to the track and translate those good 0 to 60 times into some good 1/4 times

I had the same issue with mine. Either bogged or spun. I'm not trying to bump mine off the rev limiter to get a good 0-60 time. Like big Dave said, let's see some 1/4 (or even 1/8) mile times.

I plan on going back in the next few weeks. Best I was able to do was match my time earlier. It cuts too much power upon initial release of the clutch then starts hopping to about 30. But this also was with no burnout, only heat that was in the tires was from driving

Lol......ok.

I think the key point of the thread is that the m6 zl1 has the ability to run a mid 3 0-60 time (based on the car's built in timer, so take that for what it's worth) with a good launch and little wheelspin.

Published times have rollout where the timer goes on first movement?

My 2016 2SS convertible A8..... GM published numbers.....12.5@115mph and 4.2 0-60 for SS automatic convertible.....

My ZL1 A10 with a mild launch and run..... GM numbers of 3.5 0-60 and 11.4@127mph for ZL1 A10..... much more available.... definitely .5 seconds more to lose on both.....if not .75 to a full second on full power run in the 1/4.....

Every instance of the dash timer vs a real timer that I could find showed the dash timer was .1 to .2 seconds stingy, which is good in my mind. I'd rather it be consistently a little stingy than randomly blowing sunshine up my ass.

That's very impressive for a less than full throttle run. I've thought about trying that myself, but haven't yet.
