Whats the general opinion on April incentives. Do you think they are going to be better then March or do you think GM will bet on the good weather to raise sales and leave us out to dry?

That my friend is the multi-thousand dollar question. I'm on the fence of buying a different color than I really want now, or ordering the color I want and waiting/hoping incentives are as good or better when built.

Yes it is, but the sales manager agreed to do the finance paperwork if I want once we have a VIN. Which should be before the end of April. This would of course start my financing payments early, but I don't mind that at all.

Anybody know what day of the month the new month incentives roll out? At this point i will lose my March incentives. Curious if the April ones will come out prior to my car arriving.

So you get whatever incentives when you take delivery of your car? That kind of sucks. I was hoping it would be the month your order was put in.

That's how it is with every other manufacturer I've ever dealt with but GM. It's weird but it's how they do business, probably to promote taking cars off the lot if I had to guess.

Correct, and the reason is that when the car is delivered, is when it transfers essentially from the manufacturer/dealer to the customer, so therefore it's one at retail time delivered through the computer system. Both dealers and GM couldn't keep it straight if it was based on order date.

Incentives any month usually happen by the fifth of the month

I called my dealer today and was told we should know Monday the 3rd. All we can do is hope they have incentives and that there are as good if not better than March.

$2500 if you use GM Financial. Even if higher percentage I would do it then refinance elsewhere cheaper if needed.

I just signed this past weekend and only got $1,000 down payment incentive from GM Financial against my ZL1. Hope I didn't leave money on the table I should have gotten .

Went back to my dealer and they agreed I should have gotten the $1500, we resigned the papers and I got a total of $2,500 incentives as well. Phew!

Now let's see what April brings for everyone.
