2SS 1LE Maybe???
http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=486362
You all see this news? Looks like a 2SS 1LE to me. Maybe I should have waited?!?! Not sure if it's actually going into production but would be pretty sweet if it did.

It is a 2SS. It's also an automatic. Most important though is that it's just a concept car. Don't expect to see it make production.

2SS 1LE will never happen. Too close to a ZL1. The SS is already more then enough power for the street. If they released a 2SS 1LE you'd literally have a ZL1 minus the supercharger for ~13k less with enough power to satisfy most enthusiasts. It would canabilized the ZL1 too much.
Edit: to clarify the only things that seperates a 1LE and ZL1 is the engine, the ZL1 gets all the 2SS tech, and a front fascia the rest of the car is exactly the same.

This whole thread is win and is exactly why I don't think I will end up with a 1LE. Yea. I can't do the 1SS. I would have to do a 2SS and just invest in suspension/wheels/tires/bolt-ons to get some power and looks. I love the way the 1LE looks, more than anything out right now...but no way I can give up the tech in the 2SS. I live and breathe tech.

Would be interesting if the 2SS1LE becomes an option down the line.
