Alternate ZL1 Tire Sizes

Is there an alternate larger set of tires you can run that get some more rubber on the ground but don't compromise rubbing?

The ZL1 1LE has 325s with 12" rims.. does anyone know if GM did some thing so
that size will fit? I assuming it will fit a regular ZL1 also with right offset.

Yes they did... DSSV dampers are the difference that allows that width over the Mag Ride.

What is the largest drag radial we can fit on a regular 17 ZL1? And who has found what drag radial works best on this car?

The ZL1 1LE must have 11.5" or more rear wheel width for those 325s.

They're 12", actually.

Then on that car 335 is doable. But that's that car.

The rear's might be ok. They did futz with the track width a bit on the ZL1 1LE, pulled it in, to adjust the turn in bias.

But up front - the DSSV coilover struts are significantly thinner to accommodate those wide front wheels/tires.

Waiting for my wheels to arrive now, and my plan was to fit some 295/30/20 mp4s on the 10" fronts if possible. Just eyeing the fender you would think you have some wiggle room to bring those front more flush with the body, but once you fully turn the stock wheels/tires, it's actually already pretty close to that back portion of the wheel well.

that would most likely compromise handling running the stock rims anyway..
