Any guess at 1LE Production #'s to date?

Wonder how they will compare to Gen 5 at end of MY.

Feels like more being produced to me.

For all 1LE's or just SS 1LE's?

I doubt it's more, just seems like it as lots of us are on here. Most dealers don't even have an SS 1LE in stock. Plus, the public is going to crossovers and SUV's.

Total 1LE production (LT, SS, ZL1) may end up being about the same as last gen, but my gut thinks SS 1LE will be less then the last gen SS 1LE. It cost more, didn't get added to the Chevrolet website until like 6 weeks ago, etc, etc.

Personally, I would rather it have lowish production numbers.

I ordered my ss 1le on 1/20/17 in Jackson TN. Big dealership. Good dealership. That said, they hadn't even heard of the '17 1LE at that time.....
Mine was, and still is, the first one to come through their dealership (again BIG dealership) when it unloaded off the truck on 2/25. Between my order date and the delivery date someone from Chevy did come to that dealership and give them info/training/whatever they call it about the camaro 1le models.
My guess and hope is fairly low numbers, atleast so far

This came up on the Facebook 1LE group and the consensus was that the Gen5 would be more "rare". It fired me up a little since most own the last gen so the bias was real. Not to mention Chevy hasn't produced a "rare" car since the late 60's. If they sell 70k - 80k Camaro's this year as the normally do, I don't think any more than 2 - 3% of them will have a 1LE pack.

I'm guessing based on traffic through here and looking at places like cars.com, that there will be five times as many V8 1LEs as V6 models. Part of the reason for that is that most V6 1LE models seem to be mega-loaded 2LT versions. I can guarantee when those were ordered it was just a sales manager wanting a "fully loaded" V6 Camaro and just checking all the boxes. There are only about 20 1LS/1LE V6s for sale on cars.com. I don't know what that website's spread is, but it seems pretty big. There are over 30,000 2017 Camaros for sale on there!

There is one dealer on cars.com claiming they have a 1LE/1LS for under $26K. I'm guessing there are a lot of, umm, strings attached to that deal. If it wasn't black I'd give them a call.

Most of my local lots had twice as many V6 1LE's as they did V8 1LE's.

I ordered mine as a 2LT 1LE so I could get the heated and cooled seat and heated steering wheel. plus the technology package, I got exactly what I wanted in a camaro with the combo of those two packages. Bu I agree as I WORK at a Chevy Dealer and I had to educate them on the 1LE package, and as a side effect now I have been involved in all the stock 1LE orders here and I am a service advisor!!!

As said above, most dealerships don't have any. Especially on the east coast. I searched everyday on gm's website until I found a red one and then I jumped on it. I hope total numbers are same or lower than previous years making them more rare.

I just wish they would serialize them as I'd like to know what number I have.

I just ordered mine two weeks ago so it arrives in time for spring. I had to walk the dealer through it because they didn't know what a 1 le was. Heck they are made an hour away from the dealer you would think they would know a little more about them.
