Anyone else have wheel damage?

Has anyone else had wheel damage upon delivery?

They are just lightly chipped on the high spots like it was done when the tires were mounted.

Most dealers do have them. I just told my dealer not to touch my car, I'll clean it...

The car was on the showroom floor so I assume they used it.... I wish they had got me one via the order process but I honestly don't think they could have gotten one due to allocation

Passenger side front and rear both had rash on the wheels when my first SS 1LE arrived to the dealer, among 6 other separate damage problems. However, the second one arrived damage-free on the wheels. Only problem on second car was a scratched side mirror that the dealer replaced before taking delivery.

I have 1 rear wheel that has some light scuffs from when the wheel was mounted at the factory. Other than that just some normal micro scratches from being on the showroom floor.

Dealer said they couldn't warranty the damage and admitted it looked like mounting damage so their solution was to take them off and send them out to be powder coated at no cost to me.

Did you show them this when you took delivery? If so, you should get a new wheel. I doubt the powder coat will match, as the factory paints them. I would demand a replacement wheel...
